Austin Healey 3000 MK III Phase 2, year 1966. Chassis number BJ8L35426, engine number 29KH10020, body number 80228. This is a ‘matching numbers’ car, a Heritage document to confirm this is present. This gorgeous Austin Healey of the final 3000 Mk III Phase 2 series was sold new in Baltimore, USA. In 1996, the automobile was sold to Germany where it has known only one caring owner until 2023! This ‘Big Healey’ is in a super original and very good condition, a true time capsule! The car was never fully restored, only given new paint in the past. The car was very well serviced and maintained. Over the years worn parts and trim were renewed, and everything has received attention. The bodywork shows a perfect panel fit, the engine compartment is very clean, the interior upholstery is original and in excellent condition, the carpet was renewed in the past. The black vinyl hood, the hood cover and the tonneau cover are in a very good condition. This gorgeous Austin Healey is mechanically and technically fully up to date. Service invoices are present, and the car drives and handles perfectly. This Healey shows all the original details, and it is fitted with chrome wire wheels, Vredestein 185/15 Sprint classic tyres, overdrive, and by a US dealer fitted 1960s Monte Carlo Solid State AM radio.
