This impressive Bentley was bespoke built for our client by Racing Green Engineering (RGE) of Wales UK. We are an official RGE representative, we can also make your Bentley dreams come true. This magnificent Bentley bobtail was recently finished after a top class built in the period 2021 -2022. The design of the bodywork was inspired by the original 1928 Bentley 4,5 Litre ‘Bobtail’ which raced at Le Mans in the years 1928 and 1929. The skilled craftsmen at RGE have built the aluminium bodywork to perfection by hand. The chassis is a ‘Derby’ Bentley 4¼ Litre which was uprated in detail to offer a more modern feel and ride. The engine is a B80 5575 cc straight-eight fitted with four S.U. carburettors. The power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manually operated gearbox. This Bentley was built for intensive use in long distance historic rally events. Everything was done to make the car as comfortable and easy to operate as possible. The engine features a dry-sump oil-system and the car is fitted with twin petrol tanks, large storage boxes on the sides, heated seats and a Monit tripmaster.
