Austin Healey 100/M BN2 “Le Mans”, year 1956. This magnificent automobile has factory original numbers and colours, a Heritage certificate to confirm this is present. Colour Ice-Blue metallic with a blue leather interior and blue carpet. Blue soft-top and tonneau-cover, side screens with blue frames. This Austin Healey 100 was sold new in the USA. The car was ‘in period’ converted to “Le Mans” M-specifications. The “Le Mans”-kit consists of a special cylinder head, a special camshaft, S.U. H6 carburettors with a ‘cold-air-box’, cooling vents in the bonnet, and a leather belt over the bonnet. Het BN2-model features a 4-speed gearbox with overdrive on 3rd and 4th gear. The car is registered in the American Austin Healey “Le Mans” registry. In the years 2015-2018 this wonderful “Big Healey” was extensively restored to top condition by an Austin Healey specialist in the Netherlands. A complete restoration file with photo report and invoices is present. Mechanically everything was overhauled, this including the engine, gearbox and dashboard instruments. The bodywork was restored from the bare metal. The body shows a perfect panel fit! The chrome trim was re-chromed to perfection. This Austin Healey 100/M “Le Mans” is in a superb top condition and the car drives perfectly! This fantastic Austin Healey is fitted with disc brakes at the front, a side exhaust, an aluminium rocker cover, chrome wire wheels and a pair of additional Lucas SFT576 fog/ cornering lamps at the front.
