This magnificent Mercedes-Benz rally car was fully and professionally restored / overhauled / modified / prepared by Altena Classic Service a few years ago. The automobile has participated in a host of historic (rally) events all over the world. The Mercedes has proven to be a perfectly reliable machine. During the restoration the car was fully modified to receive a more modern Mercedes-Benz W124 320 engine. This operation has been carried out many times by Altena Classic Service. The car features (amongst others): additional powerful driving lamps at the front, reinforced steel wheels (the original MB alloy wheels are present), a professional rally roll-cage, special comfort-seats, dashboard fitted with rally instruments, upgraded and reinforced suspension, sump protection plate, custom built front bumper, safety hood catches / locks, special sports exhaust, sliding (sunshine) roof, improved electrical system and secure battery-system. This is a perfectly prepared rally car to participate in long-distance rallies all over the world!
