The De Tomaso Pantera was built in Modena Italy and is an impressive Italian sports car featuring a centrally mounted Ford V8 engine. De Tomaso sold Panteras in the USA under agreement with Ford through the Lincoln and Mercury dealer network. The 1973 oil-crisis ended the agreement, and De Tomaso took over all the Pantera shares. The combination of Italian design (Ghia, Tom Tjaarda), great road holding capabilities, and American V8 muscle (330 bhp) proved to be a successful recipe. Until 1992, a total of 6128 Panteras were built. This very original example is one of the sought-after cars from the first Ford years! This De Tomaso is a rare collector item and an impressive driver car for the enthusiast!
