The Speed 8 Special was built on a very early 1947 Bentley Mk 6 chassis which was restored to brand new condition! The bodywork and the interior were handcrafted to the highest standards by the skilled craftsmen of Racing Green Engineering. The chassis was fitted with a large 6500 cc 8 cylinder-in-line Bentley B81 engine with four S.U. carburettors and a fully synchronized 4-speed manually operated gearbox. The car has driven only 4200 miles since completion of the build. This very impressive Bentley special with a 4-seat tourer bodywork in the style of the winning Le Mans racing cars is still in an excellent top condition!
