This rare and highly desirable Aston Martin DB 4 was sold new to Mr. Oscar Swahn from Stockholm. The car was prepared by the Aston Martin factory to compete in the legendary Tulip Rallye. The car participated in the 1960 and 1961 editions of the Tulip Rallye. The Halda Speed Pilot which was factory fitted, is still present with the car. This fantastic automobile comes with a complete history file from new which includes Tulip Rally documents and regulations, period photographs (including Tulip Rally shots and 1961 Tulip Rally Newspaper clipping), service invoices, restoration invoices, and many other documents giving a clear insight of the car’s history and the previous owners. Also present are the factory data sheet, the original Aston Martin DB 4 Instruction Book, the DB 4 Parts Book, and Swedish magazines in which the car featured in recent years. Since the year 2012 the car is owned by a Swedish Aston Martin enthusiast who had the Aston Martin perfectly restored and rebuilt by Aston Martin Specialist ‘AstonHill’ in Stockholm in the period 2012 – 2018.
