Colour dark British Racing Green combined with a suede green leather interior and matching carpet. This fabulous Jaguar E-type Fixed head Coupe from the 1st series was sold new in the United States. In the year 1994 the car was imported to the Netherlands. This fantastic machine was cherished by the last owner from 2004 to the present day! The Jaguar E-type was presented on the Geneva car show in March 1961. The E-type was almost as big a showstopper as the Citroën DS in the 1950s. Even Enzo Ferrari was impressed and said that the Jaguar E-type was the most beautiful car in the world. This early series 1 coupé model is the most sought-after E-type of the series because of the magnificent body shape, roof line and details. Details like the covered head lamps (which were deleted on the series 1.5) and the gorgeous tail lamps (which were deleted on the series 2). This fantastic Jaguar E-type is in an exceptionally good and super original condition! The car was never restored, only repainted in the past. Technically and mechanically the car was beautifully maintained. In recent years, the engine was overhauled, the gearbox checked and serviced, and the rear suspension rebuilt.
