Black mohair soft-top and a black vinyl hood cover. This wonderful Carrozzeria Touring designed Alfa Romeo was sold new in London (UK). The original British registration 696 HYW is still present on this left-hand drive car. This splendid Alfa Romeo 2000 Spider was extensively restored and overhauled in Belgium about 10 years ago. The body was restored from the bare metal. The interior was newly upholstered, the mechanicals were overhauled, chrome re-chromed, and a new wiring loom was fitted. A photo report of the restoration is present. This Alfa Romeo is in superb condition and the car drives and handles perfectly. The automobile shows all the original details and it is fitted with a period correct Blaupunkt radio. Furthermore, the car is fitted with electric power-steering (delightful!). Only 3443 examples of this model were ever built. This stylish Alfa Romeo 2000 Spider is a superb example!
