MG TB, year 1939. Chassis number TB057X, engine number XPAG 81X. Colour two-tone; silver metallic and grey metallic. Grey leather interior and black carpet. This magnificent MG TB is one of the two MG TB cars which was sold new in the Netherlands just before World War 2. The car was imported by the firm of Molenaar in Amersfoort. During the war years the car was stored in pieces, to keep it out of the hands of the occupier. After the war the car was built up again, the car was given the current registration TX-57-19 in 1956. The MG TB is a rare MG “Midget”, only 379 examples were ever built. This wonderful example was extensively and body-off restored by an MG specialist in the 1990s. The automobile is still in a very good to excellent condition and the car drives delightfully. The current owner has cherished the MG TB since 1999. This MG TB comes with a complete and very interesting history file and an original owner’s manual. This is a rare opportunity to purchase a sought-after MG TB!
