This gorgeous Alvis Special was built on a 1938 Alvis Crested Eagle chassis in the years 2012 / 2013. The work was carried out by a renowned Dutch pre-war car bodywork specialist. All the mechanicals were extensively overhauled, and the 2.7 Litre six-cylinder engine was overhauled by the renowned firm of van Giersbergen in the Netherlands. Costs nor effort were spared to build a superb Alvis special. A complete photo report of the restoration is present as is a file of invoices. This magnificent automobile is in superb condition. The car has participated in a variety of historic events like the Alzheimer Rally and the Tulip rallye. The car is known with Altena Classic Service since it was completed in 2013.
