Black soft-top, hood cover and tonneau cover. This masculine and sporty Triumph TR 6 was sold new in the United States (US). In 1991, the car was imported to the Netherlands. From 1991 the car was cherished by one owner (for 31 years)! In the year 2010 the automobile was extensively restored and overhauled. A photo report of the restoration is present. Also present are two large file folders with historic documents, and service and restoration documents / invoices. The TR 6 was restored with focus on excellent driving qualities. The bodywork shows an excellent panel fit and superb paintwork, the underside of the car looks better than new! The bonnet was given five rows of louvres to improve cooling of the big six-cylinder engine. This fantastic Triumph TR 6 is fitted with a 4-speed gearbox with overdrive. On a Triumph TR the overdrive is a true 5th gear which improves the driving experience considerably. Furthermore, the car is fitted with the original steel wheels, original Stromberg carburettors, original air-filter housing, Vredestein 185/70 tyres, a beautiful MotoLita steering wheel with a wood rim, a Stainless-Steel baggage rack, a Stainless-Steel exhaust system, and a Philips car stereo system with a wood ‘look’ front.
