Jaguar E-type 3.8 Litre OTS, year 1962. Chassis number 87845X, engine number R7356-X, body number R505X, gearbox number EB 646X JS. Matching numbers and colours! Colour carmen red combined with a black interior and black carpet. Black mohair soft-top and hood-cover. This fantastic Jaguar E-type comes from the sought after first series, the car was sold new in New York, USA on 16 November 1962. The series 1 Jaguar E-types feature the very sporty 3.8 Litre straight-six engine, with three SU carburettors, and the special interior with bucket seats and the aluminium clad dashboard.

The Jaguar E-type OTS (Open Two-Seater) was also named ‘roadster’. This tremendous Jaguar E-type was extensively restored in Great Britain in the years 2015-2016. The car is in superb TOP condition (concours) and the car drives perfectly! The bodywork shows crisp lines and a perfect panel fit. The paintwork and the chrome are superb! The car is beautifully detailed under the bonnet and the underside of the car is like new! The car features chrome wire wheels, a MotoLita steering wheel, a period Blaupunkt Essen / Mannheim radio with FM and a Stainless-Steel exhaust system. The car comes very well documented, all the previous owners are known, and the original US ‘title’ is still present. This is a highly desirable Jaguar E-type Series 1 roadster in superb top condition!
