Austin Healey 3000 Mk III Phase 1, year 1964. Chassis number HBJ8L2657X, engine number 29K/RU/H124X. Colour Old English White combined with a red leather interior and red carpet. Black mohair soft-top and hood cover. This is an early BJ8 Phase 1 model of which 1390 examples were built. This beauty was sold new in The Netherlands, in May 1964, and the car sports its original registration HN-17-26. This magnificent ‘Big Healey’ was cherished by its current owner from July 1994 to the present day; 25 years! In the years 1997 – 2001 the car was extensively restored, photos of the restoration are present. In the year 2015 the automobile was mechanically overhauled; photos and invoices of the works are present. This Fantastic ‘Big Healey’ is in very good to excellent condition and the full history is known and documented! The car shows a crisp body panel-fit and it shows all the wonderful original details. This fine Austin Healey is fitted with overdrive, 72-spoke chrome wire wheels with ‘knock off’ wheel nuts, 185 / 15 Vredestein Sprint Classic tyres and a chrome baggage rack. Additionally, the car comes with a host of spare parts. This is a fantastic example with a full Dutch history!
