In 2009 the cylinder head was rebuilt by Rex Woodgate. In 2010 the original Borg Warner 3 speed automatic gearbox was changed for an original DB 6 5-Speed ZF gearbox. In 2012the car was largely stripped and fully repainted in the wonderful colour Jaguar Kingfisher Blue. In the year 2019 the car was purchased by a Swedish collector. In 2020 a high-end after-market air-conditioning system was mounted in the rear by Aston Martin specialist ‘AstonHill’ from Stockholm. From 2019 the car was serviced by this firm; all the invoices are present in a separate file. This magnificent Aston Martin DB 6 is in a wonderful condition. The aluminium ‘Superleggera’ bodywork is excellent, as is the paintwork and the chrome. The interior shows only the slightest signs of previous use. The sliding sunroof of the ‘Webasto’ type is a sheer delight, it opens very far back and is is very well insulated when closed. The automobile is fitted with chrome wire wheels shod with 185/15 Vredestein tyres, two Lucas spot lamps at the front, a Stainless-Steel exhaust system, and a costly Becker Mexico ‘retro’ auto radio. This Aston Martin can be exported and imported to any country around the globe. This wonderful machine is ready to be enjoyed to the fullest!
